Today is the day folks. Today is the day we win more money betting than we lose. This can’t go on anymore. I’m losing my head.

The Texas Rangers: Kinda good. They’ve crept up to 2nd place in the AL West and are only a game back of the second wildcard spot. We like the Texas Rangers.

However, a more important point, we don’t like Jordan Zimmerman. The Detroit righty is 0-4 in his last 4 starts with an ERA approaching 10 and a WHIP over 2. Additionally, batters are knocking .343/.425/.571 against him in those starts, which means he’s got an OPS against just a tad below a grand. I was in Ann Arbor for a couple days last week and the Detroit sports radio guys spent the whole time yibbering and yabbering on and on about how much they despise this Zimmerman fella. I trust those guys.

To be fair, if I was a Tigers radio guy I’d complain as much as they do. The Tigers suck. They’re 2-8 in their last 10, 11-24 total at Comerica, and 23 games back in their division. They’ve got a team OPS of .698 in their last 7 days, .620 in their last 14 days, and .685 in the month of June.

Meanwhile, the Rangers have the 6th-best team OPS in the Majors during the past week (.875). Although they haven’t been scoring that many runs (4 and a half per game), I expect them to nab a few off of Zimmerman and the godforsaken Tigers. Everything is bigger in Texas baby.

RedSox are winning rn. They’ve won 10 of their last 15, their win% has steadily improved each month (playing .600 baseball in the month of June), and they’ve dominated the WhiteSox this season. In fact, the RedSox are 4-1 against CHW this season with a run differential of +24 (which includes yesterday’s spectacular 6-5 comeback&walkoff win).

And David Price is a goddamn All-Star. He recently had a major fuck up against the Rangers (Texas Rangers: Kinda good) where he gave up 6 runs over an inning and a third. HOWEVER, he immediately bounced back and tossed 5 innings of 1-run ball against the Frank’s Red Hot Sauce Hot Twins. What’s more: He posted a 1.13/.916 ERA/WHIP in the 5 starts before that, allowing only 5 runs over 24 innings.

The WhiteSox are throwing reliever Carson Fulmer on the mound today. Carson has a 6.35 ERA on the year, and has pitched a total of 2.2 innings since May 1st. This guy is gonna get fucked tossing against the reigning World Series Champs.

We live. We bet. We die. Carpe Diem, C’est la vie, and God dammit do I need to win a fucking bet. BOL.
